  We were all in our 20's the 1990's pioneers who still hoped the 1914 generation was for real. Jenny {names changed} loved Peter who was younger then me and very handsome. He wanted to go to Bethel since he was a kid. I was jelous of their love since I thought Jenny was very pretty. But Peter looked up to me and was my friend so I wished them the best. Jenny did not full time pioneer, she had a job and wished for a house and kids with Peter as was part of her culture. He had connections working in the bethel offices in a "cushy" job so he got his new wife straight into....THE LAUNDRY STEAM ROOM!!! No kids, no house, no money, and hard labour was her life for many years. We got together for a Bethel lunch one weekend and I was shocked how much older and worn down she looked! She lost that lovely smile she once had, like someone in the Soviet union who had been to long in the "gulag" camp. I knew this was not the life she hoped for with her love. After 14 years how shocked I was to hear she had left him and bethel and went home to mom. After much guilt, bible scriptures and Elder talks she returned to her "Gulag" bethel to wash peoples underwear for Jehovah. A broken spirit 38 years old. Sorry I couldn't help you Jenny.

  The Confederate Flag

  the latest controversy over the confederate flag just sums up to me the state of dysfunction that exists in american society.. in summary: a white supremacist nutter shoots 9 black people dead in a church.

  he's clearly inspired by the messages of others which the confederate flag is often a symbol of.. it seems like a no-brainer to remove it.

  not only isn't it removed, it isn't even lowered at all as a mark of respect.. and of course now there are the people who want to defend their right to have it.

  As an Aussie I think it's really horrible and shocking that states would fly this flag, I can understand some red neck having it on his front lawn but a government building???...shame on you Charleston... it's a symbol of slavery and abuse by the rich. Many Americans dying a horrible needless death. People should be ashamed to be associated with it. I don't know what is wrong with people down there, really sick and disturbing.

  i am sure that the many recent lawsuits are being noticed by the r&f.. here are some gems from that article, titled the naive person believes every word.

  we must be very selective about what we consider worthy of our attention.

  feeling a little lonely this evening so please tell me if you have plans for the summer months.

  i may go to some outdoor theatre with my daughter who's home from uni; with a picnic and a bottle of wine.

  Alot of my "GENERATION" who were waiting for the last 1914 person to die before Armagedon starts....well, we are still waiting in mid 2015??? Yes we are damn tired. I was ment to be in paradise by at least 1998.

  and my wife has been slipping in to cult mode the last 2 days.....you know the look.

  almost like a glazed over look with a side of guilt and a side of narrow mindedness.

  took me 4 years to slowly convince my wife to leave. Dont fight. Use reasoning and be cunning as a serpent. Go slow. Regarding the 3 days take some critical notes and post it on here....your wife will think your paying attention.

  years ago i used wikipedia to study "yahweh" ..i was shocked to find out yahweh was one of many gods in the cannanite religion.

  there i see a cannanite coin with pagan yahweh on his winged chariot???

  this was faith destroying.

  Elohim {God} in the bible can be translated "God of gods" which makes sense. The jews believed in many gods till babilonian captivity when Yahweh alone became God. This would explain why Aaron made a gold calf right after witnessing Yahwehs power....Solomon build Yahweh a luxury Temple only to later install other gods.

  Years ago I used Wikipedia to study "Yahweh" ..I was shocked to find out Yahweh was one of many Gods in the Cannanite religion. There I see a Cannanite coin with pagan Yahweh on his WINGED CHARIOT??? This was faith destroying. The divine name Jehovah is a throw back to a pagan "Storm God" called Yahweh. The storm God would explain why in Exodus when he identified himself to Moses as Yahweh he appeared to them as a huge storm cloud. This was an introducion of the "new" God of israel.

  Scholars agree that there was no Exodus and israelites came from the existing Cannanites...now the bible makes more sense to me.
